Meghan’s talk, “Become a Moment Maker: A path for increasing the number of women in STEM” explores the challenges girls and women experience today on the path to STEM careers. Women continue to be under-represented in STEM, particularly in computer science and data where fewer women are entering the field now than in the 1980’s. She reflects on her personal journey from an aspiring singer to an actuary and technology leader, and offers a research-based path forward to inspire each of us to make a difference.
