LaShonda’s Talk “Trauma, Storytelling, and Rest: The Interplay” explores trauma as an inevitable experience of life for all living organisms on Earth. The human sensory system send messages that influences perceived threat on the predictability of life or the ability to rest. Through storytelling, there is a power that heals trauma and enables rest. The interplay of how the three dance together creates an intentional narrative for posterity.
