Ashley Quinto Powell is the founder of The Bossy, a community of women actively advancing their careers while raising children. She has been named a Brava Woman to Watch, an InBusiness Magazine 40 Under 40 and a 2018 Athena Award nominee. She has been quoted in MSNMoney.com and the Huffington Post and is the subject of a children’s book, “She’s a Technology Sales Executive and She’s My Mom”. She lives in Madison, WI with her husband and two children.

Let’s reimagine being a working parent. 2 years ago, I founded a group of executive Moms just so I could see other women working and climbing the ladder the way I was. Somehow, when women become moms, we start talking to them about recipes, coupons and working less. That doesn’t cut it. Fast forward to today, and it is 600 wildly engaged women, who are as likely to talk business valuation or intellectual property law as we are to share effective bedtime routines for toddlers or racial equity discussions with teens. We have built a community that uplifts, supports and encourages; a community that pushes us ahead and knows that truly, we can have it all.
