Dontae Latson, President and CEO of YWCA McLean County, presents: “The Power of Community”
Since June 2013, Dontae has served as the President and CEO of YWCA McLean County. His primary responsibility is to impart the organization with a visionary road map of innovative, transformative and sustainable progress in the delivery of social justice programming and community services. Prior to relocating to Illinois, Dontae served as the administrator of two hospitals and as a local county government executive in North Carolina.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD and a Master of Science degree in Social Administration with a dual concentration in Management and Community Development from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio respectively. Developing leaders, strategic planning for non-profits and promoting mental health and community collaboration are among Dontae’s areas of expertise.
