As of June 2021, only 8.1% of Fortune 500 companies have a female sitting in the CEO position. Studies show that women are more likely to wait until they feel they have 100% of the qualifications before they advocate for those top leadership positions. But what if women pursued opportunities before they felt 100% ready? What if they chased after a dream role, even with 50% of the qualifications? The more we jump at opportunities before we feel ready enough, the easier it will become to thrive outside our comfort zone. The more we exercise our readiness muscle, the more women we will see changing our corporate narrative and sitting in the C-Suite.
